Toronto police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a young victim of an alleged aggravated assault that took place over the weekend.

On Sunday, police responded to a call for an unconscious male laying on the sidewalk in the Celestine Drive and The Westway area just after 11:00 p.m.

Officials said a dark-coloured sedan stopped in the area and two suspects got out of the car and opened the trunk to carry an injured male out, and then put him on the sidewalk.

They later fled the scene, according to police.

The victim is described as between 13 to 20 years old with a medium complexion, standing at five-foot-four, 93 lbs., with a thin build, short black hair, clean shaven, and with a scar above his right eyebrow.

He was wearing a black “Trapstar” bubble jacket and black pants. On Tuesday, police released images of a jacket similar to the one the victim was wearing.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at 416-808-2300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
