The Toronto forward helped deliver the Raptors a 141-127 overtime win over the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, finishing with a record-high 23 points, 25 rebounds and 10 assists and becoming the first player in franchise history to ever record a 20-20-10 triple double stat.
Barnes matched the Raptors’ single-game franchise record of 25 rebounds, tied with Bismack Biyombo back in 2016.
Though the feat marks his seventh career triple-double, according to media reports, he becomes the ninth player in all of NBA history to record a game with at least 23 points, 25 rebounds and 10 assists. He joins a list of Hall of Famers and MVPs like Wilt Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor, Bill Russell and Nikola Jokić.
Online, Raptors fans reacted enthusiastically to the performance, with some calling for Barnes to earn All-Star recognition and even Defensive Player of the Year consideration. An All-Star selection would mark his second appearance since 2024.
