Toronto is getting a few more days of classic summer weather before showers and cooler temperatures move into the forecast.
Thursday and Friday are shaping up to be the best days to get outside, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-20s. Thursday could feel a little warmer with the humidex, while Friday is expected to stay sunny and comfortable.
Saturday will keep the summer vibes going, with sunshine and temperatures in the mid-20s during the day. But clouds are expected to roll in overnight, bringing a chance of showers.
Sunday is where things take a turn. The temperature is expected to dip into the low 20s, with a chance of showers throughout the day and another chance Sunday night.
The cooler weather won’t stick around for long. Monday should bring a mix of sun and cloud with temperatures in the low 20s, followed by another warm-up Tuesday, when temperatures could climb back into the mid-20s.
Another round of showers could arrive Tuesday night and continue into Wednesday.
So, when should you make plans?
If you’ve been waiting for a good excuse to spend some time outside, Thursday through Saturday look like your best bet. Friday in particular is expected to be sunny, while Saturday could be the last good shot at a full day outdoors before the rain chances increase.
And with summer winding down, you may want to take advantage of it while you can.
Environment Canada is also warning of a high UV index Thursday and Friday, so don’t forget the sunscreen if you’re spending the afternoon outside.
As always, the forecast can change, so check the latest conditions before heading out.
For now, Friday looks like Toronto’s best bet for sunshine, with Saturday offering one more mostly dry day before the forecast turns wetter Sunday.
