On Jan. 19, Cineplex will be hosting its next Monday Surprise Premiere at Scotiabank Theatre in downtown Toronto. For $16.99, silver screen lovers will get to see an advanced screening of an unreleased movie in IMAX.
Cineplex last held a surprise screening before the New Year on Dec. 15, where it showed Song Sung Blue, starring Kate Hudson and Hugh Jackman as the Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder.
There’s already plenty of speculation on social media about what the movie could be, with Facebook users writing comments like, “It’s 100 per cent going to be Mercy with Chris Pratt.” and “Sorry, but I’d never go for this, I want to know what I’m paying for, and this includes the title of the movie.”

Starting Jan. 17, Cineplex will also be discounting tickets to family-friendly movies at select theatres across Ontario for as low as $3.99. Featured titles include Madagascar, The King of Kings and The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.
