The KD Takeover Poutine consists of a loaded poutine topped with creamy KD, crispy bacon and chives, while the KD Takeover BeaverDog is an all-beef hot dog wrapped in a BeaverTail pastry, topped with KD and ketchup.
This comes after Heinz’ bold menu items, such as a limited-edition Ketchup Poutine for National Poutine Day, suggesting that ketchup belongs on the Quebec-born dish.
Another bold move was Kraft Dinner’s mac and cheesecake, available at bakeries across Canada.

Some Torontonians are quite excited for this collaboration.
“Childhood dream come true,” one Instagram user wrote.
“The collab we didn’t know we needed in 2026!” another added.
“OH HECK YA BROTHER,” another user commented.
