Events happening in Toronto this weekend: Nov. 1-3

The spooky season may be over but the fun doesn’t have to end! A new month means lots of new activities and events to do in the city from art and culture to musical concerts.

There are several events to check out this weekend in Toronto such as The Royal Agricultural Fair, Pitbull’s concert and a dystopian theatre production, among others. 

Friday, Nov. 1: 

The Royal Agricultural Fair

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is back at the Exhibition Place where fans can enjoy the best in agriculture, local food, and equestrian competitions from across the country. The event is known as the largest combined indoor agriculture fair and international equestrian competition in the world. General admission tickets are $32.50 each and the fair runs until Nov. 10.

Buffer Festival

Buffer Festival is an annual showcase of international digital video premieres for digital creators. Dubbed the digital version of the Toronto International Film Festival, Buffer aims to display the talent of online video creators from YouTube and TikTok. The festival takes place at the Paradise Theatre and The Drake Hotel. Full festival passes are $129.99 each.

The Colours’ Colour

Joon Hee Kim’s exhibit “The Colours’ Colour” explores the human instinct to aspire towards resonance and self-expression through sculptural form, colour and graphic pattern. Curated by Marlee Choo, the exhibition is available to the public for free at the Harbourfront Centre from 12 p.m to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 2:

Pitbull – Party After Dark Tour 

Watch Mr. Worldwide himself perform at The Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto for his Party After Dark Tour. American rapper and singer Pitbull is known for his classic hits “I Know You Want Me,” “Give Me Everything,” and “Hotel Room Service,” among many others. Doors open at 8 p.m.

November Community Weekend

MOCA Toronto is inviting you to attend its November Community Weekend where there will be a series of interactive activities and guided tours that delve into the human experience and its role in the digital environment. The event is from 1 to 4 p.m. and tickets are $10.

Puppy Yoga – Bichon Frise

Spend your Saturday at a peaceful and relaxing yoga session featuring adorable Bichon Frise puppies. The breed is known for being playful, loving and attentive, perfect for guests looking for companionship and cuddles. The session is from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. at Art Bay Studio, at Bay and Dundas streets. Tickets are $50.

Sunday, Nov. 3: 

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: 2024 Tour

American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen and his rock band The E Street are hitting the stage at Scotiabank Arena for their 2024 tour. The iconic rock performer has several hits, including  “Born to Run,” “Badlands,” “Born in the U.S.A.,” “Streets of Philadelphia,” and many more. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

2024 EcoFair Toronto

Head to the EcoFair on Sunday where you can shop and support eco-friendly businesses and non-profit organizations. There will be over 60 vendors present, a silent auction and lots of products to test out. It’s free to attend and it’s happening at Wychwood Barns from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.

I Don’t Even Miss You

Watch a new theatre production called “I Don’t Even Miss You” by Elena Belyea at the Factory Theatre. The dystopian show follows a non-binary computer programmer named Basil who wakes to a new world and devastating loss. The show is meant to unravel grief, love, artificial intelligence and gender identity. Tickets are $35 each.
