We had a good run when it came to ideal patio weather in Toronto this year. But now that it’s chilling down outside, you should know that the city has plenty of heated patios to choose from that will help you forget the cold weather is upon us.

From places to grab a drink with colleagues after a long day, to romantic spots to grab a bite to eat, here are five places with heated patios to enjoy in Toronto during the cooler months.

Soulas Modern Greek Cuisine

Address: 500 A Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON 

Located in the heart of Greektown, Soulas Modern Greek Cuisine boasts a pretty patio space with string lights, greenery, heaters and an enclosed seating area.

The restaurant is known for its variety of authentic Greek and Mediterranean dishes, including vegetarian, seafood, and meat options, all created with generational recipes. 

The space has a great ambiance with live music, happy hour specials, as well as prix fixe menus during Winterlicious.

Head to the Distillery District and check out the huge patio at El Catrin Destileria. This spot offers a wide menu of different small plates, giving guests the chance to try a few different bites, tapas style.

Known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and HUGE inventory of more than 120 different kinds of tequila and mescal, the space is also popular for its expansive heated patio.

Tequila lovers should also check out the Agave Club, a curated, chef-led tasting experience with tequila and tapas.

While only partially heated, Bar Piquette has a patio that is perfect for those who enjoy the brisk weather. Plus, it’s located out back, so you can expect a quieter vibe than a lot of patios on Queen West.
