- Several Toronto landmarks appear in A Very Jonas Christmas, including Massey Hall, Casa Loma, the CNE, St. Lawrence Market, and even the 401.
- Fans captured behind-the-scenes filming moments across the city, from the surprise $20 Massey Hall concert to musical numbers at Casa Loma and the CNE.
- Though the movie is set in Europe, Toronto locations double as key backdrops, giving local viewers recognizable Easter eggs throughout the film.
Last winter, the Jonas Brothers were seen all over the city shooting their musical holiday movie, and fans hunted down the locations.
While the movie mostly takes place in Europe, those familiar with Toronto might recognize a few of the places featured in the film and not because they have been to London.
Though the places on their own are recognizable, the spectacle of the musical movie may have been distracting. So, here are the Toronto landmarks you may have missed while watching A Very Jonas Christmas Movie.
Massey Hall
Remember that $20 surprise Jonas Brothers concert at Massey Hall? While the Jo Bros did play some hits, staff quickly handed out Christmas gear to the audience members, revealing it was actually a shoot for their movie. Nine months later, lucky fans are now spotting their cameos.

Casa Loma
No, the boys did not have a dance break outside of Buckingham Palace. However, they did perform for lucky passerby outside the iconic Casa Loma. More importantly, the Home Alone: The Musical showdown, which is arguably the best scene, takes place inside the castle’s restaurant, Blue Bloods Steakhouse.
Canadian National Exhibition
The Jonas brothers shot all over the Canadian National Exhibition including a dash to the Princes’ Gates through the Automotive Building and the Enercare Centre and a Camp Rock-esque musical number at the Coca Cola Coliseum.
St. Lawrence Market
Fans spotted the trio filming winter scenes at St. Lawrence Market, complete with warm jackets and fake snow. If you look closely, you can see the popular food spot Bindia Indian Bistro in the background.
Highway 401
While the 401 is not necessarily a landmark, it is still iconic in Toronto. There isn’t definitive behind-the-scenes footage of the wild Uber trip, but fans are confident the Christmas-obsessed rideshare driver was wreaking havoc on Toronto’s 401 so the Jo Bros could catch their train to Paris.
