TIFF is less than two weeks away, which means some of the coolest celebs will be in the 6ix. Here are nine popular places to spot a moviestar in town during the festival.
Bisha Hotel
Located in Toronto’s Entertainment District, Bisha Hotel has attracted celebrities like Elliot Page, Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Margot Robbie.
Mister C
Located in the Bisha Hotel, Mister C is known as a place to spot celebrities in the city. The venue is set to host several TIFF events and screenings this year. Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin, Naomi Campbell, and Michael B. Jordan have also been known to love this joint too.
Pink Sky
Pink Sky will bring high vibes at its restaurant with its long range of this year’s movie showings and guests. Plenty of actors and actresses are known to stop by to enjoy some of the best seafood in the city.
Margo
Upscale Mediterranean lounge Margo has seated VIPs like Ryan Gosling, Tyler Perry, and Ethan Hawke, in the past. More celebs are expected to sip cocktails at Margo, one of King St. West’s favourite venues, during this year’s TIFF festivities.
Daphne
Daphne’s contemporary atmosphere is a welcoming venue for big names. Located in the Financial District, the restaurant offers a modern American dining experience that will leave your hearts and bellies full.
Kissa
This Japanese-inspired lounge has hosted celebrities like LeBron James and Luka Doncic. The venue is one of TIFF’s hospitality partners for 2024 and is expected to attract even more beloved stars.
Kost
Kost’s mediterranean vibes are loved by big names like Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Gosling, Sofia Vergara, and Shaquille O’Neal. Located in the Bisha Hotel, on the 44th floor, Kost offers a quick escape to the California coastline, with stunning views of Toronto’s skyline.
Soluna
Soluna has returned as a TIFF hospitality partner for the third year in a row. The restaurant has hosted plenty of celebrity suppers and events, such as the Black Excellence Awards, YYZ films, and CANIFFF. Diplo recently performed a surprise DJ set in this space, while Jennifer Lawrence, Zac Efron, and Daniel Craig have been spotted at the lounge in the past.
Coffee Oyster Champagne
Located right next to the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto’s Entertainment District, Coffee Oyster Champagne threw a slew of TIFF parties last year – and they are expected to make a return for 2024. Known for serving champagne and sparkling wine, celebs like Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Keira Knightley, and Craig Gillespie have all been spotted at this space.
