Gia Restaurant's Thanksgiving dinner

Thanksgiving weekend 2021 is a bit more open than last year. Toronto Public Health officials are advising that mask-less gatherings with people from different households be kept small and hosts ask attendees for vaccination status.

But big turkey takeout specials are still on offer at many of the city’s restaurants and specialty grocers. If you didn’t get it together to pre-order a feast at a spot with a strict deadline, fear not: this is a list of 10 restaurants and bakeries doing Thanksgiving dinners for dine-in and takeout. We’ve indicated pick-up dates and instances where pre-orders require notice.

Danforth Irish pub staple Allen’s is doing a Thanksgiving special once again and it’s as classic as they come. On October 10-11, roasted ginger-maple glazed turkey, curried butternut squash soup, baked double ham, roasted Brussel sprouts and pumpkin pie are on the menu. You can also order for pick-up.
