Monday Dec. 18

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS OF TORONTO: CABBAGETOWN

It can’t be Christmas without checking out some holiday lights. And that’s why you won’t want to miss visiting Christmas Lights of Toronto: Cabbagetown hosted by The Toronto History Walks. There, you can tour some of the most popular neighbourhoods when it comes to Christmas lights. The tour begins outside the Toronto Public Library at the Parliament Street Branch and tickets are $10!

Tuesday Dec.19

STACKT MARKET DIY CANDLES 

Candle workshops are available at STACKT Market.

During this workshop, you will make, customize and take home two organic soy candles, among other things.

Visitors will get the chance to pick from a variety of fine essential oils and fragrance oils to create their own signature scent. To take things up a notch, you can also add finishing touches, like botanicals and labels so that you can customize your candle.

FEED THE HUNGRY STAND-UP COMEDY SHOW 

Looking to have a good time and give back this holiday? If so, the Comedy Green Room Dot Com will be hosting a stand-up comedy open mic and food drive, where all you need to enter is by bringing non-perishable food items.

THE NUTCRACKER AT THE NATIONAL BALLET OF CANADA

It’s not the holidays without The Nutcracker.

Marius Petipa’s beloved classic will come to life at The National Ballet of Canada in James Kudelka’s staging from 1995, which opens at a Christmas Eve party in rural 19th-century Russia.

With non-stop dancing and magnificent sets and costumes, The Nutcracker is an unforgettable tribute to the imagination.
