That hasn’t materialized, but here’s a “soundtrack companion” to the GTA 3 clone True Crime. This is a state of the union address from lesser-known commercial West Coast gangstas, featuring the likes of West Side Connection, Jay-o- Felony and Above The Law. Dance Wit Me, Snoop’s sleek duet with Marvin Gaye, follows Erick Sermon’s formula but works. Lesser-knowns like Suga Free distinguish themselves, but the last five or six songs are pretty faceless, and there aren’t any groundbreakers here. A fitting holiday gift for any acne’d-up Internet thug.
