For a real night at the museum experience, the Royal Ontario Museum hosted their Day of the Dead event, as part of their weekly Friday Night Live festivities.
This Halloweekend, Torontonians shared their night with dinosaurs and ancient Roman ruins with drinks, live music and DJs, savoury food, all at a scary good price. Halloween enthusiasts got a taste of Mexico with Zombie Tours, temporary tattoos, professional face painting and a cultural exhibition presented by of the Mexican Tourism Board, Viva Mexico! Clothing and Culture.
The vibrant night was complete with the Mexican folklore stylings of the bands Los Poestas and Mexico Amigo.
Missed out on the fun? Don’t be spooked! Friday Night Live isn’t wrapping up its season until November 27th.
