Toronto soccer fans will get another chance to experience the FIFA Fan Festival after the city added an extra festival day to its schedule for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The City of Toronto announced it has added Friday, July 10, to the FIFA Fan Festival at at Fort York and The Bentway, giving fans a place to watch the Spain vs. Belgium quarterfinal, which kicks off at 3 p.m. ET.
Festival gates will open at 1:30 p.m.
While there won’t be any live entertainment on July 10, visitors will still be able to enjoy the festival atmosphere, including cultural programming, interactive activities and more than 30 food vendors.
Premium tickets now available
Premium tickets are now on sale and include guaranteed entry to the festival as well as access to exclusive viewing areas.
Fans hoping to attend for free will have another opportunity beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, when general admission tickets become available through Ticketmaster.
The city notes that while general admission tickets provide access to the festival, entry is not guaranteed if the venue reaches capacity. Officials are encouraging attendees to arrive early and review the festival’s entry guidelines before heading to Fort York and The Bentway.
Festival resumes after temporary closure
The FIFA Fan Festival is closed from July 6 to 9, although the FIFA Fan Festival at Fort York and The Bentway continues to broadcast select FIFA World Cup matches during that period.
The city is also encouraging soccer fans to check out neighbourhood watch parties, restaurants and community events taking place across Toronto while the festival is temporarily closed.
