A new arcade-style indie video game lets gamers “defend their stage with music” by Canada’s best bands, including a bunch of locals like METZ, Metric, Lights, July Talk, Fucked Up and Austra. Save your favourite band from aliens by tapping along to their music and wielding weapons like fog machines, amps and strobe lights.
Made by Toronto studio Pop Sandbox, Loud On Planet X is in the Kickstarter phase, aiming to raise $50,000 by June 5 in order to launch this fall. Perks include band shirts, 7-inch records and more.
