When Sisters Speak
Come and enjoy North America’s largest and longest-running showcase featuring Black female spoken-word artists.
The 2025 show will showcase poets from Toronto, Hamilton, Edmonton, Los Angeles and Baltimore.
The show will take place at St. Lawrence Centre of the Arts, Jane Mallett Theatre and will start at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $50-$80 and can be found here.
Saturday Night Dinner Modern Jazz with Huu Bac
Montreal’s Huu Bac Quach is coming to Toronto this weekend for an intimate jazz performance at DROM Taberna! He is a master of many instruments, from the Vietnamese dan bau to the Peruvian flute. Enjoy jazzy sounds from this talented musician and his quintet.
Accompanied by top Canadian jazz musicians, Quach brings his original compositions to life; blending the sounds of his roots with North American jazz and sounds from Asia.
Tickets are ‘pay what you can’ but the cover will be $15 after 10 p.m.
