What to know

  • Ottawa’s favourite juice and dessert shop has landed in Toronto’s The Well.
  • Known for viral fruit-shaped cakes, homemade Dubai chocolate, and fresh, no-syrup juices.
  • Grand opening will feature a giveaway of 600 Mango Trompe l’Oeil desserts.

Whether you’re craving something sweet or trying to be healthy, Juice Dudez just landed at The Well—bringing Ottawa’s favourite fresh fruit blends and desserts to Toronto.

CEO and Founder of Juice Dudez, Nasr Nasr’s story dates back to the 1800s in the fruit farms of Lebanon. After generations of his family growing fruits with real flavour, he decided to bring this practice to Canada.

Switching from an engineering degree to sales, he decided to follow what he loves: food, people, and building something real.

In 2019, he created Juice Dudez — and lines kept forming.

Now, there are four locations in Ottawa — and they just soft-opened their first Toronto location in The Well.

On Sunday, May 3, Juice Dudez opened up in the Wellington Market.

“[Juice Dudez has] healthy drinks, delicious desserts and good times. We source the best of the best ingredients,” Nasr Nasr told Now Toronto. “What you see is what you get. No syrups, no bullshit.”

The franchise prides itself on using fresh ingredients—and Nasr recommends the Rainbow Dude as a must-have.

“The Rainbow Dude, no question. Mango juice, strawberry juice, whole lot of fruit chunks. Think of it as a fruit salad, 2.0. We add cashews and pistachios on top and the Lebanese cream, Astha. Don’t sleep on that,” Nasr said.

He also explained that the juices and desserts are unique because Juice Dudez does not “cheap out” on ingredients.

“We’re foodies,” he added. “I’m a big foodie. I farmed fruits my whole life, so I wanted to make juices made from real stuff.”

The franchise has also spent months perfecting its homemade Dubai chocolate, as documented on Instagram.

Juice Dudez has also served many viral desserts, such as the “trompe l’oeil” (to fool the eye), a fruit-shaped dessert that’s actually a cake.

Juice Dudez is anticipating its grand opening at The Well between May 8 and 10. The business will give away 600 free Mango Trompe l’Oeil desserts during the grand opening.
