No GO Transit service on Downsview and Union stations
GO Transit service remains impacted by closures due to construction for a GO Expansion taking place on Lakeshore West, as well as construction along the Barrie Line.
This weekend, there will be no service at Downsview Park GO or Union Station as part of the closures, which means that those travelling to Rogers Stadium will need to seek alternative routes.
Along Lakeshore West, there will be no service between Aldershot and Mimico stations, with replacement buses running from West Harbour Station to Bramalea Station.
Where is TTC Line 2 closed?
On top of GO Transit interruptions, there will also be no service between Jane and Ossington subway stations along Line 2, due to planned track work on Saturday and Sunday.
Dufferin, Lansdowne, High Park, and Runnymede stations will be fully closed, with other stations open for customers to connect to other routes or purchase PRESTO cards or fares.
Shuttle buses will run between Jane and Ossington to accommodate commuters. Regular service will resume on Monday.
What’s the best way to get to Rogers Stadium despite closures?
Even with the closures, transit still remains the best option to access the venue, according to Live Nation’s website.
Those attending Mars’ concerts at Rogers Stadium on May 30 and 31, should take GO bus 30 or 47 from Bramalea GO to access Highway 407 Bus Terminal, which will then connect them to TTC Line 1.
By taking TTC’s Line 1, concert goers can access Downview Park Station, which is 900 away from the gates, Sheppard West Station, also at the same distance, or Wilson Station, which is 1,800 metres from the gates.
