Ontario reported 1,248 new COVID-19 cases and 29 deaths on November 15.
The province detected an all-time high of 1,581 cases on Saturday, along with 1,396 infections on Friday and 1,575 on Thursday.
The seven-day rolling average has reached 1,408, compared with 1,064 the previous Sunday.
There are 364 new cases in Toronto, 308 in Peel and 125 in York Region.
Ontario completed 42,206 tests in the past 24 hours, marking a three per cent testing positivity rate.
Active cases jumped to 12,345, and there are currently 479 patients hospitalized and 118 in intensive care. Sixty-seven patients are on ventilators.
Outbreaks within long-term care homes have surpassed 100 cases, reaching 101 today. Of the 29 deaths in the past 24 hours, 20 were long-term care residents.
School-aged children ages four to 17 account for 120 new cases reported today.
To date, there have been 94,009 total cases of COVID-19 in Ontario, including 78,303 – an increase of 1062 from the day before. There have been 3,361 deaths.
