Toronto police have arrested a woman in the GTA who allegedly sold $70,000 worth of fake Taylor Swift tickets to dozens of fans.

On Monday, police arrested Denise Tisor, of Burlington, for selling fraudulent tickets to 28 victims, according to a news release on Tuesday.

Tisor is facing 66 charges, including fraud over and under $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime over and under $5,000.

Police say Tisor went by the alias Denise Blackhawk on Facebook Marketplace and offered tickets for the Eras Tour concerts happening in Toronto.

Tisor provided various dates and seat locations for the concerts. Once a price was negotiated, victims sent e-transfers to Tisor for the tickets, police said.

Police added that some of the tickets were purchased last year in August, when the concert tickets first went on sale. Tisor allegedly told the victims that tickets would not be released until days prior to the concert.

However, on the days of the concerts victims reported that the tickets were not transferred to their accounts.

When victims requested their money back, Tisor said the money was gone, police said.

Toronto police believe there may be more victims and are working with the Halton Regional Police Service on the investigation.

Tisor is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 10, 2025.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour wrapped up over the weekend. She performed six shows from Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23.

Anyone who may have purchased a fake ticket is asked to file a police report online. They can also contact police at 416-808-3200, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or at www.222tips.com.
