Drake’s giant downtown Toronto ice block may have melted, but his fans are keeping it alive by trolling rival rapper Kendrick Lamar’s Instagram comments with ice cube emojis.

On Sunday evening, the Toronto-born rapper installed a giant ice cube as part of advertising his upcoming album, Iceman, with the release date hidden inside.

Torontonians have since rushed to take pictures and try to break or melt the ice, but it was one determined streamer who found out the album is set to drop on May 15, and fans were hyped.

The discovery didn’t stop the chaos—Toronto Fire was called in to melt the ice, officially ending the spectacle.

But just because the physical cube is gone doesn’t mean the hype melted with it.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been feuding since 2013 following Lamar’s verse on the song “Control.” Since then, both artists have been exchanging jabs. At the height of the beef, Drake targeted Lamar for allegedly cheating on his wife in the scathing “Family Matters,” and Lamar hit back with the top-charting “Not Like Us” less than 24 hours later.

On Kendrick’s recent tour dates announcement with SZA, fans left thousands of ice cube emojis.

Fans didn’t stop there. They stormed nearly every post on Kendrick’s Instagram, from his latest music drops to his oldest publications.

While Kendrick hasn’t publicly responded, the comment sections remain a frozen battleground in the ongoing feud.
