Toronto rock band The Beaches’ song “The Edge of the Earth” went viral after being featured on Off Campus, with Ella Bright — who plays Hannah Wells — calling the set “life-changing.”
Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest on June 27 featured young adult fandoms across different viral TV shows, including Off Campus, Every Year After, and Elle. For the LA-based festival, the show’s actors showed up.

The Beaches was also performing at the festival, and got to meet some of the Off Campus cast after the iconic Off Campus x The Beaches crossover.
“Edge of the Earth” was featured in the show’s second episode, highlighting the moment when main character Garrett Graham realizes he has feelings for the other main character, Hannah Wells. In that moment, he puts The Beaches’ song, knowing it’s her favourite band.
Since then, The Beaches has been putting that scene in the background during their performance of “Edge of the Earth.”

So, at Obsessed Fest, Off Campus main character Ella Bright, who played Hannah Wells, and Mika Abdalla, who played Well’s best friend: Allie Hayes, came up on stage.
When introducing The Beaches, Bright said that their set “will change your life.”
The Toronto rock band captioned it, “So iconic we love you.”
The Beaches posted that moment on Instagram, to which Ella Bright reposted in her story and commented multiple hearts, and Mika Abdalla commented, “So thankful that Off Campus introduced me to your music.”
The rest of the cast was also at the event.
