Details about where Canada’s first Shake Shack location will be in Toronto have been released.
The famous American burger chain will be opening its first Canadian location at The Tenor near Yonge-Dundas Square.
News of Shake Shack’s arrival this year was discovered by an anonymous member of an Urban Toronto forum who released The Tenor’s updated floor plans as of Dec. 2023.
Shake Shack will be leasing the former Adidas retail space located on the street level of the 13-storey building and occupy more than 7,300 square feet of space, according to the plans. Adidas left the space several months ago.
Construction is slated to start soon but it is unknown when the restaurant will be open for business.
The Ballroom and Hard Rock Cafe is also set to open upstairs at The Tenor this year, according to the plans.

Back in March 2023, Shake Shack announced that it would be expanding into Canada with 35 locations opening by 2035.
Details about the other Canadian locations have not been announced.
The menu will feature signature items including the ShackBurger, Chicken Shack, classic crinkle cut fries, beer, wine and frozen custard.
