Toronto might get an early taste of Spring starting on Friday, with temperatures expected to reach  record-breaking double digits.

Residents will start to feel the warmth on Thursday as the daytime high is expected to be 7 C with sunny conditions.

Then on Friday, expect cloudy conditions with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning and a high of 12 C. This could potentially break the previous record of 10.6 C set in 1965 for Feb. 9.

Usually, the average daytime high in February ranges from -1 to -2 C, with an average low that hovers around -10 C.

On Saturday, it’s expected to be cloudy once again with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 5 C.
