
The final weekend of June is here, Toronto, and the list of things happening in the city over the next few days is long.
From Pride festivities to Canada Day events, there is something for everyone in Toronto this weekend.
Friday, June 27
Bubba Hubbas 90s/2000s Dance Party
Head to The Garrison for a dance party that will throw you right back to the 90s and 2000s.
Sold-out for two years in a row, the Bubba Hubbas party is making a comeback. The event will be screening music videos from the 90s and 2000s, allowing you to dance the night away to some golden oldies. Plus, guests can look forward to drag performances from icons Miss Moço and Manny Dingo!
The party starts at 10 p.m., and the party’s extended liquor license means that drinks will be flowing until 4 a.m. This event is 19+.

Fantasy Island: Beach Club at Night
A sapphic pool party will see thousands of people take over the Grand Bazaar at Exhibition Place on Friday night starting at 9:30 p.m.
Guests can look forward to taking a dip in the three onsite pools, mingling with other queer folks, and dancing the night away with eight DJs on two stages at the venue. The west stage will include DJs Teray, Soundboi, Cookiedoh and Pogi, featuring Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Afrobeats, R&B, Reggaeton and more. While the south stage will see Pop, House, Remixes, Bangers, Mashups from DJs Kage, Thirdeye, Levi and Mar.

Maple Laughs
Tickle your funny bone at a Canada Day comedy special show at The Real Jerk Legacy.
The Maple Laughs standup comedy show features Jess Goddard, Manny Mangat, Marwan Shaffey, Darren Leo and Jordan Hanoun.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with the show running from 8-9:30 p.m.

Saturday, June 28
Electric Island Music Festival
Calling all EDM fans, the Electric Island Music Festival is returning to Toronto for a two-day event at Ontario Place this weekend.
Following a killer event last month, this weekend’s lineup includes DJ sets from Disclosure and Bonobo, as well as performances from various artists like Adam Ten, Black Coffee, Jackie Hollander and more.
The event is cashless, and the venue accepts debit and all major credit cards, as well as contactless payment. Find festival tickets and passes here.
Spring into Spice Cultural Food & Wine Festival
Head to Steamwhistle Brewery for the Spring Into Spice social, an indoor/outdoor event featuring 45 different food vendors, wineries and wine importers.
A DJ will also be on-site to keep the party going while you enjoy cuisines from countries in the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America and beyond. Meanwhile, vendors will be available at the wine tent to help you find a perfect pairing for your food.
The event runs from 12-8 p.m. and also features deep dive seminars to teach you more about food and wine.

Canada Day Boat Party
Celebrate Canada Day with a boat cruise on Lake Ontario.
Attendees are encouraged to wear red and white, and get ready to enjoy a night of music, dancing, and fun while taking in stunning views of the city’s skyline.
This event is 19+, and the party features a fully stocked bar, with food and drink specials. Bottle service is also available. The boat features a covered dance floor, and the party will go ahead rain or shine.
Boarding begins at 8:30 p.m., with the cruise running from 9:30 p.m. through 1:30 a.m.

Sunday, June 29
Toronto Pride Parade
The annual Pride Parade will return to Toronto this Sunday, with 25,000 marchers and 250 groups taking part in the procession to honour and celebrate the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Running from 2-6 p.m., the parade begins at Rosedale Valley Rd. and Park Rd., making its way west along west on Church St., south on Yonge Street before coming to an end at Nathan Phillips Square.

Once again, Now Toronto will be marching in the parade. Keep an eye out for our float, where our team will be celebrating, and DJ Special Kay will be on deck to keep the good vibes going for the whole route.
Carnival for Care
Entertainment for a good cause will be centre stage at the Carnival for Care, an event raising funds for Arielle’s Snack Bar.
The snack bar was started by a local mom named Kayla, after her daughter was born prematurely and spent time in the NICU. The mission-driven initiative aims to provide comforting, nourishing snacks to other families with babies receiving care in the NICU.
Attendees can look forward to an afternoon of games, food, and family fun, including meet-and-greets with Batman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Batgirl and more. It’s all going down at the Laneway Event Centre from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
