Torontonians will soon be seeing a revamped Scotiabank Arena packed with new upgrades, such as a bigger walkway and advanced technology.
On Friday, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment unveiled the latest new features of the arena which is home to the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Earlier this summer, the venue underwent extensive renovations, and now, it’s sharing the latest upgrades as part of phase two of its $350-million reimagination project to the multi-purpose arena.
The professional sports company says phase two out of four includes a transformation of the 100 Level concourse, the new MNP Pass Social Club, an additional Real Sports Apparel store, the remodelling of Hot Stove restaurant, and much more. Work on the 100 Level concourse is expected to continue throughout the season while the venue continues to operate.

“With the transformative upgrades made this summer, fans will be visually immersed in the energy of the event they are attending from the moment they step into the main concourse of Scotiabank Arena, whether it be a Maple Leafs game, Raptors game or live event,” MLSE Chief Operating Officer Nick Eaves said in a press release.
“Our vision with this project is to help facilitate even more unforgettable memories for our fans at Scotiabank Arena, and we look forward to continuing this goal through the future phases of the reimagination,” he continued.
100 Level Concourse
First up, the north side of the 100 Level concourse received a complete modern remodel which includes upgraded finishes and new technology, such as LED screens, digital beacons and hubs.
Fans who enter Gate 1 will have an elevated experience as the space allows for easy fan entry, floor to ceiling LG Direct View (DV) LED screens, more inclusive and accessible rooms like an infant feeding room and all-gendered bathrooms.
In addition, the MLSE has collaborated with Sports & The Arts (SATA) to bring fans unique art pieces on the 100 Level that reflect the venue’s best moments.
MNP Pass Social Club
Meanwhile, the MNP Pass Social Club is a 7,350-square-foot premium space that is set to provide members with an exclusive view of players as they prepare to take the ice or court. Simultaneously, members can enjoy an upscale casual dining experience with a corresponding platinum seat in the rows behind the player benches.
The club also offers a mix of banquette and table seating, access to two private dining rooms and wine cellar and an open kitchen view with a capacity of 200 fans.
Real Sports Apparel

The second addition of the Real Sports Apparel retail store was created to make shopping seamless for fans. The store’s design was made to host events smoothly, with its rotating exterior walls and digital signage through the interior and window displays.
Hot Stove

The new Hot Stove restaurant combines modern cuisine and contemporary designs that pay tribute to the restaurant’s history. Established in 1963, Hot Stove is a traditional steak house with a sophisticated atmosphere. Fans will notice the restaurant’s new entrance outside of the arena by Gate 1 of the Galleria. Hot Stove is available for all ticket holders attending Maple Leafs and Raptors games and is open for concertgoers with no membership required.
Technology Enhancements

MLSE has also put new technology enhancements in place to ensure fans are not spending that much time waiting in lines. The venue has added a new PA loudspeaker system and more self-serve machines using Amazon’s Just Walk Out Technology and new contactless RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification Technology) check-outs at retail locations.
By the end of phase two, the company says there will be digital signage plastered throughout the arena using over 70 million pixels of high-resolution LED displays and more than 400 new ultra-high-definition digital displays.
MLSE will release further updates on the venue’s renovations following the conclusion of phase two.
