To help narrow your options, for the third week of our holiday event series, we’ve compiled a list of festive activities happening this week, with a special recommendation for each day.

Monday Dec.11

WONKA’S SWEET ESCAPE

This brand-new immersive activation celebrates the release of the highly anticipated film Wonka and is a great spot to pick up delicious goodies for friends, family and loved ones.

Open every Monday until Jan.2  from 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m, shoppers at Yorkdale Mall can peruse the storefront and step into a world of pure imagination. Snap enchanting photos, snack on delectable treats, enter giveaways, and get excited to witness Wonka in theatres on Dec. 15.

Tuesday Dec. 12 

CANDLES AND COMEDY

North America’s best Jewish comics will take the stage at The Royal Theatre for an evening of guaranteed laughs in aid of Magen David Adom.

This one-night only event is happening on Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at 608 College Street.

This is an 18+ event, tickets start at $54.

Wednesday Dec 13

DIOR CHRISTMAS TREE – YORKDALE  MALL

The Dior Atelier of Dreams holiday pop-up is open in Yorkdale Mall until Dec. 31, bringing Paris’s Tuileries Garden to life in Toronto and featuring an array of luxurious gifting services. 

A spectacular 30-foot Christmas tree dressed in over 3,000 handmade floral ornaments, 320 butterfly ornaments, 260 fragrance bottles, and more than 1,500 lights will also be on display until Jan. 2, be sure to check it out while Christmas shopping!

MASTERCLASS – HOLIDAY MIXOLOGY AT THE RITZ

Discover the art of mixology at EPOCH’s holiday masterclass at The Ritz.

Learn about the history of cocktails, improve your preparation techniques, refine your palate and equip yourself with the skills to curate a selection of delicious holiday beverages. 

The Ritz’s cocktail masterclass is taught by senior bartenders, and will arm you with all the necessary skills to blow your family and friends away with a sip.

Classes take place on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reservations require a 24-hour notice minimum.

Friday Dec. 15

THE WELL – ELENA SNOW GLOBE

Holiday at The Well includes plenty of family-friendly entertainment, featuring a range of up-and-coming musicians, DJ sets, restaurant pop-ups, a skating rink, light shows and more.

Toronto multi-instrumentalist Elena will be performing in a custom-built snow globe on Fridays between 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. until Dec 31.

Saturday Dec. 16

STACKT HOLIDAY HILLS

Stackt’s Holiday Hills market has returned with a selection of immersive activations and retail experiences ready for visitors to enjoy, including The Founders Room pop-up which opens on Dec. 16 at 11:00 am.

The chic, limited time store, will house local and independent brands making it the ideal spot for browsing a curated selection of high end goodies such as jewelry, pottery, clothing, skincare, accessories, candles, wellness, and more all in one place.

Alternatively, Stackt guests are invited to roast s’mores at the Fizz & Fire patio, challenge friends to a game of all-weather outdoor curling, or toast to the holidays with a celebratory glass of bubbly from the bar. 

Stackt’s Holiday Hills event is open until Dec.31.

Let the holiday spirit sweep you off your feet at The Well.

Every Sunday in December between 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. professional figure skaters will take to the ice and perform to festive music. Revel in their artistry or lace up your own skates at its public rink, open seven days a week. Timings vary daily.
